Day in the Life of Our Homeschool
We just finished up our first two weeks of the new-to-us homeschool year. We’ve started our new homeschool curriculum and have already flown through several great read alouds. We can even count our family outing out to the Country Fair as a “field trip,” and Jadin won 2nd place for his acrylic painting entry while there.
My Homeschool Mom Toolbox
“Something new I’m testing out as we gently roll into the new #homeschool year — > my homeschool mom tool box! It’s just a large tote that has wheels and closable lid. I can roll it to the kitchen table, or even pull it to a quilt under the Shadytree. I’m testing out this option with the four younger children (ages 2 1/2, 4 1/2, 6, & 8) instead of individual work boxes. I’ll let you know how I feel about it in a few weeks.” from Instagram.
*Several homeschool momma’s have asked me about my mobile tote. I found the one in the video at Walmart for only $19.99. Again it’s new, I’m not sure how it’ll hold up overtime. I will updated you and let you know how it handles over the next few months. In the mean time here is the closest item I could find to give you an idea of it’s layout on Amazon. This is my referral link.
I share more about my new “homeschool mom tool box,” along with show how we spend at least an hour outside playing and exploring most mornings before table work starts, in today’s new homeschooling vlog. I also talk about our homeschool lunch fruit plates and give an inside glance into our new experience using All About Reading for Gabriel and Liam.
