Adopting the Perfect Dog for Our Large Family | Day in the Life

We have been so blessed this week by the addition of our new dog, Chloie Mae, into our family. I filmed a Day in the Life Family Vlog that followed our day getting Chloie. We didn’t even know in the morning if she was still available. By the end of the day she was ours. We are so in love with Miss Chloie! We’re also spelling her name with an “i” to match the rest of our family (everyone has an “i” in their first name). Thanks to Naomi for this idea! 🙂

A few years ago a shelter wouldn’t let us adopt because we had young children in the house. This wasn’t for a particular animal. This was their policy in general. I know many larger than average families who are turned down by shelters. In some cases they can adopt a child from China, yet can’t adopt a cat or a dog. I’m thankful that this shelter was different. They were truly glad that we found Chloie and Chloie found us. 🙂

Here are several of our new pictures with Miss Chloie Mae from Instagram:

From Instagram, “Lovely picture of Naomi with Chloie (maybe the last picture…it’s like having a new baby in the house ???)”

“Mr. Daniel loving his Chloie girl ? #perfectdog #sogladwefoundher”
