Large Family Apple Bread | Breakfast or Snack Ideas

If you’d like a sweet and simple treat to eat for breakfast, prepare this delicious Large Family Apple Bread. You’ll use fresh pieces of apple with other great ingredients to prepare a sweet and wholesome bread.

What Is Apple Bread?

Apple Bread is a loaf of bread consisting of sugar, cinnamon, and other fresh ingredients. It has a fresh apple flavor because of the addition of Granny Smith apples. It’s not like traditional bread that you’d use to make a sandwich. Instead, it’s a dessert-style bread that you can eat by itself, with a side of ice cream, or even with yummy cream cheese on top! Apple Bread is the perfect breakfast or snack idea that will instantly become a family favorite!!

What You’ll Need to Make the Apple Bread

When you’re planning to make the Large Family Apple Bread, you’ll need a few important ingredients, such as:

  • Flour. Use three cups of flour to create the base for your bread dough.
  • Sugar. You’ll need about two cups of white sugar to give this bread its sweet taste.
  • Granny Smith Apples. Peel the apples and dice them into small pieces before adding them to your batter.
  • Chopped Walnuts. You can add a half cup of the chopped walnuts to your batter.
  • Vanilla. Add a tablespoon of vanilla to the batter for an added touch of flavor.

You’ll also need cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, salt, eggs, and vegetable oil. If you don’t have vegetable oil, you can always use canola oil as a replacement.

Which apples do I need to use for this bread?

It’s best to use Granny Smith apples when preparing the Large Family Apple Bread. These apples offer a sweet touch that pairs well with the cinnamon, sugar, and other ingredients.

Do I have to add chopped walnuts to the bread?

You don’t need to add chopped walnuts to the Apple Bread, but the walnuts add flavor and a bit of a crunch with each bite. If you like crispy, crunchy textures, you’ll enjoy the texture of this bread when you’ve added walnuts to it. If you’re allergic to walnuts, you can leave them out or replace them with other nuts, such as chopped peanuts.

How many loaves will it make?

This recipe makes two regular loaves of bread. However, if you have a larger bread pan, it’ll make a single loaf.

What can I serve with the Large Family Apple Bread?

You can serve the Large Family Apple Bread with cream cheese spread on top. It tastes great with butter and a bit of cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top. You can even eat it while it’s hot with a side of vanilla ice cream or your favorite type of ice cream.

How to Store the Large Family Apple Bread

You can wrap the Large Family Apple Bread in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and keep it in a bread box to keep it fresh. You can also slice it into individual serving pieces, wrap them in plastic wrap, and store them in a large resealable bag. If you’d like to keep your bread fresh for a longer period, it’s best to put it in the fridge.
