Ingredients Needed to Prepare the Large Family Ham, Egg, and Cheese Waffle Sandwiches

When preparing the Large Family Ham, Egg, and Cheese Waffle Sandwiches, be sure to have these ingredients ready:

  • Frozen Waffles. You can make your own waffles or choose any brand of frozen waffles that you prefer at the store.
  • Deli Ham. Make ham in the instant pot ahead of time or grab deli ham to use with the waffles to make tasty breakfast sandwiches for your loved ones.
  • Cheddar Cheese Slices. Make sure to get cheddar cheese slices that you can easily place on top of your eggs and ham.
  • Eggs. You will need more than a dozen eggs to make these sandwiches. If you have plenty of eggs, you can make quite a few sandwiches for your large family.
  • Milk or Half and Half. Using milk or half and half is the perfect way to make your eggs fluffier before using them to make your sandwiches.

You will also need some salt and pepper to add to your eggs when making them. If you have these ingredients, you can get started!

How to Freeze and Reheat Your Large Family Ham, Egg, and Cheese Waffle Sandwiches

After putting the Large Family Ham, Egg, and Cheese Waffle Sandwiches together, you can wrap them up individually in parchment paper or aluminum foil. If you have waxed paper, you can use that as well. Then place them in a freezer zip-top storage bag and place them in the freezer for up to one month. Check out my must-have freezer cooking list for more help.

To Reheat: For best results, thaw the sandwiches in the refrigerator overnight. Remove the paper and rewrap it in a paper towel.  Microwave for 40 to 60 seconds on 50% power.  Flip the sandwich and microwave for an additional 10 to 30 seconds or until the sandwich is warmed through.
