Make breakfast less complicated in the morning with this Large Family Sheet Pan Sausage and Cheese Omelet. It is a cheesy, meaty meal that your family will enjoy eating in the morning.
What Is an Omelet?
An omelet typically consists of eggs scrambled and fried in a skillet on the stove. Some people add a few ingredients to the egg while preparing it before folding it over to make the omelet appear thicker. While a traditional omelet gets cooked on a skillet, you can prepare this Large Family Sheet Pan Sausage and Cheese Omelet on a baking sheet in your oven to have less mess and stress.

Ingredients Needed to Prepare the Sheet Pan Sausage and Cheese Omelet
There are only a few ingredients needed to make the Large Family Sheet Pan Sausage and Cheese Omelet, including:
- Eggs. Use at least 20 eggs for this recipe to ensure that each person in your family gets their fair share.
- Cheddar Cheese. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over your eggs and sausage for a creamy, cheesy taste.
- Ground Sausage. Cook the sausage ahead of time until brown, crumble it up into pieces, and add it to your egg mixture.
The only other ingredients needed include salt, pepper, and milk.
Can I Add Extra Ingredients?
You can add extra ingredients to the Sheet Pan Sausage and Cheese Omelet. While it is perfect the way it is, you may enjoy crumbled pieces of bacon, chopped green peppers, or even chopped tomatoes with your eggs, cheese, and sausage. You may include the other ingredients that you would normally add to an omelet.
What to Serve With the Sheet Pan Sausage and Cheese Omelet
After preparing the Sheet Pan Sausage and cheese Omelet you may want to add some easy sides to expand your breakfast meal. Add homemade bread or muffins like my Tuti Frutti Pancake Muffin or my buttermilk oatmeal raisin muffins. You might also like bread like banana bread, Cinnamon swirl bread or Double chocolate Banana bread. You might even want to serve them with a side of pancakes, waffles, and french toast with syrup. The syrup adds a sweet touch that goes with the eggs, ham, cheese, and peppers in the omelet. I have a lot of pancakes, french toast, and waffle recipes!
Do I Have to Use Cheddar Cheese?
Shredded cheddar cheese is a great choice when preparing this dish. It melts perfectly over the eggs and brings flavor to the dish. However, you can swap it out for a different type of cheese, such as fiesta blend or American cheese. If you do not like cheese on your eggs, you do not have to put any cheese on them.
How to Store Leftovers
Slice any leftovers into individual servings. Try to make sure each serving slice is about the same. Wrap these individual servings in a sheet of plastic wrap and set them in a container before putting them in the refrigerator. When you want to eat one of the omelets, remove the plastic, set it on a microwave-safe plate, and heat it for up to 30 seconds.
