Large Family Slow Cooker Cajun Pork and Beans | Easy Dump and Go Recipe!
Made with real food so you don’t have to question the ingredients ever, this Slow Cooker Cajun Pork and Beans | Easy Dump and Go Recipe makes a perfect dinner, and even a great side dish to compliment your favorite grilled meal. Eat this with some crusty home made bread or even with some Garlic Smashed Red Potatoes on the side. If you want to go more authentic, try it with rice and some added hot sauce.
What Ingredients Will I need?
- 2 pounds dry great northern or navy beans
- 1 pound boneless pork chops, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 (13 ounce) package cajun sausage, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ⅔ cup molasses
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups water
Can I freeze it?
You sure can! Once you’ve prepared the Large Family Slow Cooker Cajun Pork and Beans, you can place it in a freezer safe container before putting it in the freezer to keep it fresh. Don’t forget to add your label! You can leave the meal in the freezer for a at least 3 months before reheating. Ingredients
2 pounds dry great northern or navy beans

Instructions

Rinse the beans and cover with water. Soak in the refrigerator overnight.

Remove the beans from the refrigerator and drain. Rinse well.
