Welcome back to week 2 of the weekly Our Homeschool Life video series! Click here to watch this week’s newest video Our Homeschool Life: Episode Two – Play Dates, Sunshine, and Deep Thoughts about Legos.

This past week we had three (that’s right – three!) fun-filled play days with other homeschooling families. We get together often with families in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Something about the long Winter months tends to keep us home more. We’ve had cabin fever and catching up with lots of healthy fellowship days in the sunshine!

Here is a picture of one sweet family that was over this past week. This visiting mom is a fellow blogger and we usually see each other at out of state events. We said ENOUGH, we live too close to not get in some fun play days too!  5 of the kiddos in the picture below are hers and 6 are mine. 🙂

I’ve mentioned before about how Naomi and I read and reread through the Little House on the Prairie series as our special “girl time” in the evenings. In the picture below Naomi is working on “sewing new clothes for the kitties” that were just born under my husband’s work shop. We haven’t seen the new kittens yet, but we hear them!  Summer fun is on the way!

Gabriel shares some of his thoughts on Lego building in this week’s video. In this picture he’s displaying his big ship that he built at another friend’s house for yet another play day last week.

And the glorious sunshine, thank you Lord!  Here is a picture of Amelia enjoying some lovely afternoon quilt time in the sun. You can see in one of the pictures she has a little pile of flowers. Gabriel and Liam kept picking her boutiques of dandy lions. 🙂

Our oldest boys are in the video footage or pictures this week. Really no good reason other than they weren’t by my side the moment I had a few minutes of camera time. I’ll be sure to make up for that next week. 😉

Those are just a few highlights of the past week.  Watch the video to see my messy kitchen, lol!
