Sausage and Spinach Fried Rice | Large Family Freezer Meals

5 lbs precooked mild Italian sausage slices

2 cups soy sauce

1/2 cup sesame oil

5-lb bag frozen mixed veggies

2 16-oz bags frozen spinach

18 scrambled eggs

16 cups precooked rice

I cooked my rice in my 14-qt GoWISE electric pressure cooker. You can use a pressure cooker or just cook it in a big pot on the stove. You know Jamerrill is all about making it work for you. : )

Dump veggies into a pot with the 1/2 cup of sesame oil and toss on medium heat until completely thawed.

Combine the cooked rice, veggies, sausage or other meat, spinach, scrambled eggs and soy sauce in whatever huge pots or bowls you have. You might have to use several bowls or pots to get it all mixed up. Just do what you can and get it all stirred together.

Once it’s all combined, divide it evenly among your baking pans.

  1. Allow your meals to cool completely before placing in the freezer.
  2. Wrap each 9×13 pan with two layers of foil.
  3. Label the top of each pan with recipe name and date.
  4. Wrap each 9×13 pan with a layer of plastic wrap.
  5. Set each pan to freeze in the freezer. Do not stack the pans on top of one another until each pan is individually frozen.
