Large Family Bacon and Eggs in a Basket Sheet Pan Recipe | Dairy-Free Option

Make a simple, dairy-free breakfast with this Large Family Bacon and Eggs in a Basket Sheet Pan recipe. It is a meal that you can prepare with ease when you want to feed the family a wholesome breakfast.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 slices bread
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 16 eggs
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees 
  • Prepare a large (21 x 15 inch) rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper spritzed with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Using a round cookie cutter or biscuit cutter, remove the middle from each slice of bread. Arrange the bread slices on the baking sheets with the cut circles.
  • Melt the butter and brush butter on top of the circle cut out pieces. If you are making this dairy-free, then use oil to brush the tops or dairy-free butter spread replacement. 
  • In the hole of each bread slice, add a sprinkle of bacon.
  • Carefully crack an egg over each hole and allow the egg to rest in the hole. If desired, beat the egg slightly with a fork. Top with another sprinkle of cooked bacon. Season with salt and black pepper if desired.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the eggs are set to your desired doneness.
