Big Family Slow Cooker Chipotle-Barbecue Meatballs

Big Family Slow Cooker Chiptole-Barbeque Meatballs really is a "throw it all together in the morning and forget it" kind of meal that you can easily use to feed your family.
Prep Time 15 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 32 ounce package frozen meatballs
  • 2 18.5 ounce bottles barbecue sauce
  • 1 13 ounce jar cherry preserves
  • 3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce diced
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce from the can
  • 1 package stir fry vegetables
  •  

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the slow cooker liner with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Place the meatballs, barbecue sauce, cherry preserves, chipotle peppers, and adobo sauce into the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or low for 4 to 5 hours.
  • Stir in the vegetables and cook, covered, for an additional 30 minutes or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

Freezer Instructions:
Once you’ve prepared the Big Family Slow Cooker Chipotle-Barbecue Meatballs, you can place them in a freezer bag or a freezer-safe container before putting it in the freezer to keep it fresh. Don't forget to add your label! You can leave the meal in the freezer for at least 3 months before using. You can also assemble smaller portions into freezer-safe bags and store them that way to save space. 
 
To thaw, move your meatballs from the freezer to the refrigerator the day before. When you're ready to reheat, just follow the slow cooker directions above!
