Large Family Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole

Keep your family full with this easy Large Family Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole. It’s meaty, cheesy, and full of flavor that your loved ones can enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pounds ground chuck
  • 2 onion diced
  • 2 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 6 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 12 ounce package bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
  • 2 32 ounce package frozen tater tots
  • 2 cup grape tomatoes quartered
  • 1 cup sliced dill pickles halved
  •  

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare two 9x13 casserole dishes with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion, salt, and pepper over medium-high heat until the meat is crumbled. Drain well.
  • Return the meat to the skillet. Add the cream cheese, 2 cup cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until melted.
  • Transfer the ground beef mixture to the casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheese, the crumbled bacon, and a layer of tater tots.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the tater tots are browned and the edges bubble.
  • Top with tomatoes and pickles.

Notes

To freeze: Cover tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Freeze for up to 6 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before baking.
