Large Family Crock Pot Sweet & Spicy Beef Tacos Recipe

Full of oh-so-flavorful ingredients like beef, onion, garlic, and jalapeño peppers, Crock Pot Sweet & Spicy Beef Tacos are a tasty dinner that will put a smile on the face of even the pickiest spicy food fan.

Cook Time 8 hours

Ingredients
  

  • 2 3 pound beef roasts, cut into large pieces
  • 1 onion diced
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 12 cloves garlic minced or 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 jalapeno peppers seeded and diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For serving:

  • Lettuce leaves or tortillas
  • Asian coleslaw mix

Instructions
 

  •  
  • Prepare the slow cooker liner with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Place all of the ingredients EXCEPT the lettuce/tortillas into the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours or low for 8 to 10 hours.
  • Carefully shred the meat with two forks. Remove excess sauce, if desired, or serve with a slotted spoon.
  • Serve the beef mixture on lettuce leaves or tortillas with additional toppings as desired.
