Large Family Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili

Enjoy a comforting and flavorful meal with this Large Family Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili recipe. It’s easy enough to prepare with the right ingredients and a slow cooker to use to combine them.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 to 6 cups boneless skinless cooked chicken, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 sweet onion diced fine
  • 2 stalk celery diced fine
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 jalapeño seeded and diced fine
  • 2 16 ounce jar salsa verde
  • 4 15 ounce cans cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 15 ounce can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese leave this off if making dairy-free
  • 4 tablespoons chopped cilantro for garnishing if desired

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker EXCEPT for the cheese.
  • Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
  • Stir in the cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Serve topped with additional cheese, sour cream, and/or chopped cilantro, if desired.
