Turkey Meatloaf In The Crockpot

Love meatloaf but watching your fat intake? Turkey meatloaf in the crockpot gives you the taste of meatloaf without all the added fat with the convenience of crockpot cooking.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 4 hours

Ingredients
  

  • Makes 2 meatloaves. One for dinner and one for freezing.
  • 4 lbs lean ground turkey
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups dried oatmeal
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Mushrooms shredded carrots, or any other veggies you want to throw in there while your family isn't looking

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in your large mixing bowl.
  • Mix all together.
  • Shape into 2 loaves
  • Place one loaf into the slow cooker sprayed with non stick cooking spray.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.

To freeze for later:

  • Do all steps until crockpot.
  • Place loaf in labeled freezer bag.
  • Thaw night before then place in crockpot and follow directions above.
