Freezer Cooking Day Two|Freezer Burritos, French Toast, Apple/Blueberry Muffins {with a towel on my head}
Today I’m sharing day two of our freezer cooking days. With the help of my trusty towel-on-my-head, we’re cooking up several freezer meals and meal prep helps. We make freezer burritos, freezer french toast, and apple/cinnamon blueberry/oatmeal freezer muffins.
JUST SO YOU KNOW, I’m a rule breaker. I cook like a real mom 🙂 I dump all of my ingredients, wet and dry, together and mix it all up. Turns out great. Nothing fancy going on. Obviously.

Good job Jamerrill! You are Superwoman! You are able to keep that towel balanced so well on your head! Have you ever tried a “turbie twist”? That’s my go-to head wrap when I have wet hair and need to cook breakfast. Works great. Thank you for all your encouragement in these trenches. We send you much love and blessings all the way from WA state!
Thank you for this video! I am new to this freezer cooking thing and need all the help I can get.
I have a question about freezer burritos. How do you heat them up when you take them out of the freezer? I have tried several times to make different types of breakfast burritos, lunch burritos, etc; but when we reheat them they always turn out with the tortilla too chewy. Or rock hard. Or some other disaster. Not very appetizing, even though my family usually loves burritos it isn’t working for me to freeze them and reheat them.
We work on a farm and often in the summer, we have to jump up and run to the field with no warning. I want something healthier to grab and go with.
By the way, I really enjoy your blog and newsletter! Keep up the great work! You are a blessing to so many people!!!
Hello,
Love your videos!! I have a question about the applesauce muffins. I made them and I can not find where you mentioned the oven temperature or the time they stay in the oven. Thanks for any help you can give me.
Thank you for this video! I, like Melissa, am wondering how hot you cook your applesauce muffins and for how long. I guessed, and it didn’t turn out great
Your muffins look so delicious. It would be awesome if in the future you could make a video and share the different muffin recipes with us. I love how your recipes are out of the ordinary, I’ve never heard of applesauce muffins before, maybe it’s just not very popular where I’m from.
I do plan to get the muffin recipes up!! xoxo
I love these videos. I’m hoping to get an extra freezer to be able to do some baking for the freezer. I also plan out my whole month. Works well except I’m struggling with a picky eater. Do you have any picky eaters and if so how do you handle that?
