JAMERRILL’S BAKED OATMEAL RECIPE

Today Miss Amelia and I are making a 9×13 pan of Easy Baked Oatmeal for the Frugal Family Food Collaboration on YouTube! This Baked Oatmeal Recipe can be adapted *so many ways.* You’ll see that we were out of Milk and Cinnamon so I used Almond Milk and All-Spice instead. Make it work for you!
I always like to say that a big pan of Baked Oatmeal tastes like a warm cookie. Pour a 1/2 cup or so of milk over your individual serving, and dress it up farther by adding chopped pecans or walnuts. Maybe some sliced strawberries, fresh blueberries or my favorite banana slices.

JAMERRILL'S BAKED OATMEAL RECIPE
Ingredients
- 6 Cups Quicks Oats
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 4 Tsp Baking Powder
- 2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tsp All Spice
- 2 Tsp Vanilla
- 5 Eggs
- 1 Cup Almond Milk Or Any Milk
- 1 Cup Melted Butter
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°. Mix eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl mix oatmeal, baking powder, salt, allspice, and sugar. Combined ingredients and stir until blended. Pour final mixture into 9x13 baking dish. Bake for up to 45 minutes. Serve warm with additional milk and extra toppings (fruit slices, nuts, brown sugar, etc).
Want to make this baked oatmeal recipe a freezer meal?
To make this baked oatmeal recipe a freezer meal simply prepare the recipe as directed in the recipe above. Wrap your 9×13 pan with foil and plastic wrap and freeze. The night before you’d like to serve the baked oatmeal set the frozen 9×13 pan in your refrigerator to defrost. In the morning remove the plastic wrap and foil. Bake on 350 for up to 45 minutes.

Have you ever tried baking bananas into these bars ?
This looks great! Can’t wait to try it. BTW Is your planner still available at half price? And do you have an email or newsletter signup? Thank you- love your blog and cooking- such an inspiration!
I just mixed up 1/2 batch and added walnuts and currants. I put it in the refrigerator to bake tomorrow. This will be great since I’ll be baking and cleaning the next two days. No worries about breakfast.
That’s a great idea, Becka! Happy Thanksgiving and family time 🙂
This looks yummy! Can you use regular oats?
This baked oatmeal is SO good! I left out the sugar and used 1/2 cup pyure stevia and added a tsp. of malasses and a tsp of cinnamon (along with everything else in the recipe). I topped mine with sugar-free syrup. Thank you for sharing your recipe! I will be making this again and again!
