How do I prepare Crock Pot Chicken Wings & Peanut Sauce?
I used my 10 qt Slow Cooker for this particular recipe because I needed more room. Spray your slow cooker liner for an easy clean up later! (You’ll thank yourself for doing this!!) Place the wings in the slow cooker. Mix together ¼ cup water, lime juice, and ¼ teaspoon ground ginger and pour this mixture over the chicken wings. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or until the wings are cooked through.
To prepare your wing sauce, over medium heat by mixing the remaining water, remaining ginger, peanut butter, soy sauce, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook just until smooth, about 2 minutes.
When your wings are ready, prepare a large baking sheet with aluminum foil spritzed with nonstick cooking spray and preheat the broiler. Toss the wings with half of the wing sauce and place on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Place under the broiler and bake until crispy, about 5 to 8 minutes. Toss again in the remaining sauce.
