The Ingredients You Will Need to Make the Large Family Beefy Sheet Pan Nachos
When preparing the Large Family Beefy Sheet Pan Nachos, make sure you have these important ingredients:

- Tortilla Chips. Grab thick tortilla chips that will hold well when you add your toppings to them.
- Fiesta Blend Cheese. Use any brand of fiesta blend cheese. You can also use a dairy-free alternative or leave the cheese off to make this a dairy-free dish.
- Pico de gallo. Use pico de gallo for that fresh tomato taste that goes great with the beef, chips, and cheese.
You can also add sliced black olives and pickled jalapenos on top of your tortilla chips with the other ingredients.
What to Use as a Ground Beef Alternative
If you do not have ground beef available to use, consider using ground chicken or turkey. When seasoned with taco seasoning, the ground chicken or ground turkey will taste just as good as ground beef. You might prefer a vegetarian version, use black beans (here is that recipe!) as a meat replacement. If so, season the black beans with taco seasoning before adding them on top of your tortilla chips.

How to Store Leftovers
Put any leftovers in a food storage container and place them in the fridge. When reheating leftovers, the chips may become a bit soggy. Create a simple and fun meal that your family can enjoy with this Large Family Beef Sheet Pan Nachos recipe. The meal is easy to put together and loaded with some of your nacho toppings!
- 2.5 pounds ground beef
- ¼ cup taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 2 (13 ounce) bags tortilla chips
- 5 cups shredded fiesta blend cheese, divided (use dairy-free cheese or leave the cheese off for dairy-free)
- 3 cups fresh pico de gallo
- 1 small can sliced black olives, drained
- Pickled jalapenos, if desired
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cover two large, rimmed baking sheets with aluminum foil and spritz with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, crumbling as it browns. Drain well. Return the beef to the skillet, adding the taco seasoning and water. Cook over medium-high heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until the water has evaporated.
Spread tortilla chips into an even layer on each baking sheet. Top the tortilla chips with half of the cheese.
Sprinkle the beef over the tortilla chips and cheese.
Place in the oven and bake for 7 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Remove the sheet pans from the oven and divide the remaining cheese over the nachos. Top with the pico de gallo, black olives, and jalapenos.
To make this recipe dairy-free, leave the cheese off or replace it with a dairy-free substitute.
