Large Family Slow Cooker Italian Chicken SandwichesPrint
Easily make delicious sandwiches for your household with this Large Family Slow Cooker Italian Chicken Sandwiches recipe. The sandwiches are juicy, savory, and downright delicious!
- 1 family package boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 2 small green peppers, seeded and diced
- 6 tablespoons white vinegar
- 4 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
- 24 kaiser or hard rolls, split
Prepare a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Add the chicken, onion, and green pepper.
Sprinkle the oregano and bouillon over the vegetables and chicken. Pour vinegar over the top.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
Carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with 2 forks before returning to the slow cooker to simmer in the juices until ready to serve.
Serve on sliced rolls with provolone cheese and banana peppers, if desired.
To freeze, place all ingredients EXCEPT the rolls in an airtight container and freeze up to 6 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before cooking according to directions.
