What Do You Need to Have to Make the Sheet Pan Ham, Egg, and Crescent Roll Breakfast Squares?
The ingredients needed to prepare this sheet pan recipe include:
- Large Eggs. Use two dozen eggs to complete this recipe. Try making eggs in the oven by scrambling this recipe.
- Cheddar Cheese Slices. Use 24 cheddar cheese slices. If you do not want cheddar cheese, you can leave it out or replace it with something else.
- Deli Ham. Use thinly sliced deli ham that you will add to your crescent roll dough. You can also make ham in the instant pot and use that.
- Crescent Dough Sheets. Use the dough sheets to create a crisp crust.
You will also need salt, pepper, Everything bagel seasoning, butter, and milk.
Do You Have to Use Cheddar Cheese Slices?
Although the recipe includes cheddar cheese slices, you can substitute cheddar cheese for any cheese that you like. For example, you may want to use American cheese slices or provolone cheese slices, both of which will taste fantastic with the ham and eggs.
Which Type of Ham Is Best to Use?
It is best to use deli-style ham because it is sliced thin. The exact type of ham used does not matter for this easy meal. You may want to use honey ham, black forest ham, or even black pepper ham to feed your large family. Use what you like and have available to you, including using leftover ham.
How to Store Your Leftovers
Cut your squares into individual servings. Wrap the servings in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer bag or food storage container. When you are in the mood for a ham and eggs dish, simply pull one of the squares from the fridge and put it in the microwave, heating it for about 30-60 seconds, depending on your microwave. It is a good idea to remove the plastic from the square and cover it with a paper towel before you heat it in the microwave. This is a great recipe to add to your large family menu.
