Come along with me as we do a super mega momma shopping haul where we hit a bunch of thrift stores, Dollar Tree, and more!! I’m on the lookout for some spring decorations, some warm weather kid’s clothes, and some little odds and ends from Dollar Tree…and of course Dollar Tree 2023 Bread Deals!! Yes & Amen.
Super Mega Bread Deals
Say it with me: “Super Mega Bread Deals!!” At Dollar Tree, I found three 12 count packs of Ball Park hotdog buns, which were eaten quickly when my kiddos were craving chili dogs! Also, I found some buns for momma sanity-saving chicken patties and mega + lots of bagels. We picked up some shelf-stable milk to have on hand in the grocery store in my basement, some toiletry items, and little fun toys and activities to bring sunshine to my children. I also got a variety of organization containers to help out with all our projects.
At our local thrift stores, I had felt like we had a pretty successful haul! I grabbed some cups and some brand new hand towels. I also just had to get a water bottle that I thought was a super cool surprise because it advertised for a funnel brand that bloggers would know! We also found a few books and cute spring clothes for my tall 10 year old!! This warm weather surprises us and we needed some shorts and other warm-weather clothes. I also found rain boots in excellent condition. We can never have enough boots here on the farm!
What did Target tell me I needed?
I just HAD to go to Target because I heard they had ALL the chicken things. We did find a few special things and I always have to visit the journal section and whiteboards! I have plenty of whiteboards but do I have an arched whiteboard or whiteboard easel? Nope! They didn’t come home with me….this time. 💃
More Children’s Clothing Thrifting!
My next stop was Once Upon a Child. After I made this video, my son told me that he overheard me call it “Children’s Place” all throughout the video, so just mentally substitute Once Upon a Child every time you hear Children’s Place! I enjoy that store as well, but unfortunately we don’t have one around us! We found more precious spring clothes for my ten year old and Tobin also needed lots of spring clothing…I love ALL the toddler overalls and super cute outfit sets. 😍 Our family has a beach trip coming up, so we also found some great deals on swim shorts!
And you know we HAD to stop by Hobby Lobby on our big shopping haul. What did I find there?! LOTS of cute decor for our newly remodeled 1960’s bathroom. It needed four metal chickens. Oh yes it did. We also found some porch decor and ALL the farm pictures. One of my favorite finds there is the “Welcome to the Farm” sign. Help me decide where to put it!
