Homemade Oatmeal Raisin Cookies ~ Large Family Recipes

Today on The Large Family Table we’re whipping up six dozen oatmeal raisin cookies and six dozen oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! These cookies are a favorite large family recipe so no matter your family size you may want to go ahead and make the recipe at least once for the full six dozen. These are great to take to neighbors or give as gifts to local service men and women!
*note baking powder is shown in the picture, however, baking soda is what I used – oops 🙂

I love watching your videos. They are motivational to keep me moving. I love that you have a faith and attend church. Thank you for that example.
Hi jamerrill, I have just made your oatmeal and raisin cookies, and was wondering if i can freeze half the cookie mix??
xx thank you xx
I made your recipe today with three of my five kids, and they turned out great! I am wondering if they need some salt though because they seemed to be missing a flavor I can’t put my finger on. I just don’t know how much salt to add in without overdoing it. Any suggestions?
Try adding about 172 tsp. salt then.
Sorry that is supposed to be 1/2 tsp. salt not 172 tsp.
hi, I just found your blog. I will try these cookies by tomorrow. The kids will love it.
