Instant Pot Hard-Boiled Eggs

Making hard-boiled eggs in the electric pressure cooker is quick and easy. You only need a quick minute to set everything up. I like to use my metal steamer basket. I can fit 2 1/2 dozen eggs in there, which are gone in no time around here! You can also use the metal trivet that comes with your pressure cooker or other hard-boiled egg cooking accessories that are found on Amazon.

Description

Use your steamer basket, trivet, or other hard-boiled egg accessory to make quick and easy hard-boiled eggs in your electric pressure cooker. In my steamer basket I can make 2 1/2 dozen hard-boiled eggs at one time. They are super easy to peel as well!

Ingredients

  • 2+ dozen eggs
  • 1 cup of water

Instructions

Please one cup of water and steamer basket with 2 1/2 dozen eggs in Instant Pot or other electric pressure cooker. Close lid and place steam valve on sealing. Set Instant Pot (or similar cooker) on manual high for 6 minutes. Once cooking time is complete, release steam with quick release method.

Place eggs in a metal bowl with cold water and 1-2 cups of ice cubes if avaiable. Begin to peel eggs and place in clean bowl. Enjoy your hard-boiled eggs!

Notes

  • Remeber, it will take your Instant Pot 5 to 10 minutes to build up steam, 6 minutes to cook the eggs, and 5-10 minutes to release the steam. It’s nice to not have to worry with a pot of boiling water!
