What Do You Need to Make the Sliders?

It does not take much to make the Easy Sheet Pan Cheeseburger Sliders. If you have about 4.5 pounds of lean ground beef, dried minced onion, cheddar cheese, and dinner rolls, you can prepare this delicious meal. You may also want to add salt and pepper to the ground beef mixture, along with any other seasonings you like to use when preparing burgers.

How to Make This Recipe Dairy-Free or Change the Cheese Flavor

If you want to make this a dairy-free dish, skip the cheese or use a Vegan or dairy-free alternative. You can also add creaminess to it without cheese by topping it with guacamole, ranch, thousand island dressing, or some other creamy dressing. If you don’t want to use cheddar cheese, consider using slices of American cheese or provolone cheese, both of which will melt perfectly over the burgers while baking in the oven.

What Topping will Taste Great on My Slider?

After you prepare the Large Family Easy Sheet Pan Cheeseburger Sliders, you can serve them and add some of your favorite toppings to them. When feeding them to your large family for easy lunch or sheet pan dinner, everyone can make them to their own personal taste. Some good ideas include ketchup, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and pickles. You might want to fry some bacon in the air fryer until crispy and add it to your sliders for more flavor and crunch with each bite.

What to Serve With the Sliders

Serve other tasty sides with your Cheeseburger Sliders. These mini burgers will taste great when served with a side of homemade apple fries or chips. You can prepare my spring salad or Berry Blue salad to eat with your sliders. You might also want to make Low Carb Cauliflower Bacon Au gratin or a fresh cranberry salad. Try adding a baked potato, too.

When you are looking for a simple dinner for your large family, these Large Family Easy Sheet Pan Cheeseburger Sliders are fantastic and easy to make.

  • 4.5 pounds lean ground beef
  • ¼ cup dried minced onion, or to taste
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 16 slices cheddar cheese (leave off to make dairy-free or replace with a dairy-free alternative.)
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages dinner rolls

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a large (21 x 15 inch) rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the beef, onion, salt, and black pepper. Press the mixture onto the large baking sheet.

  3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the meat is cooked through. Press with paper toweling to remove excess grease.

  4. Meanwhile, prepare another large (18 x 13 inch) baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Spritze lightly with nonstick cooking spray.

  5. Slice the dinner rolls through the middle to create slider buns. Place the bottom of the slider buns on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. When the meat is ready, light the meat (cutting in half if needed) and place on the slider buns. Add a layer of sliced cheese and then with the slider buns tops.

  7. Bake in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

  8. Remove from the oven, cut apart, and serve.

To make this dairy-free leave off the cheese or replace it with a dairy-free alternative. See the paragraph above for more ideas.
