Overnight oats are a simple breakfast recipe to make ahead the night before to save you time! They can be made in many flavors. Apple pie is one of the easiest because you probably have the ingredients on hand. I love to use some homemade applesauce to make it especially frugal and yummy. Each recipe makes one jar so multiply by how many you want to make for all your people. I only know mega and lots so I multiply by 12.
How do I Prepare Apple Pie Overnight Oats?
Get all your ingredients together including the pint jars and lids. You can get plastic lids off Amazon if you would prefer not to use metal lids. The apple pie overnight oats shouldn’t touch the lid so it’s not necessary. You can if you want.
Mix all the ingredients together. Layer them in one at a time then use a spoon to mix it all up. Be sure to use old fashioned oats and not the quick cooking kind. You will be in for a not so fun surprise in the morning should you mix them up. Use whatever sweetener or milk you have on hand. It’s supposed to make breakfast easier not more stressful.
