What Ingredients Do I Need For Slow Cooker Chicken a la King?
- Boneless, skinless Chicken breast (you’ll want to cube these)
- Cream of Chicken Soup- this is the creamy, gravy like addition to the meal!
- Celery (chopped)
- Green Pepper (chopped)
- Onion (diced)
- Frozen peas
- Pimentos
- Seasonings: black pepper, cayenne pepper
How Do I Prepare Slow Cooker Chicken a la King to Feed a Crowd?
Because you’re using the slow cooker, preparing the crock with a no stick cooking spray makes clean up so much easier! The first step is to add the soup, flour, and seasonings in the slow cooker. Once those are combined, you’ll next add the chicken, celery, green pepper, and onion. Cover your slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
Next you’ll remove the lid and carefully stir in the peas and pimentos. If you’re having rice with your meal, you can start the rice now. After about 30 minutes, turn off the slow cooker and remove the lid! Serve your Slow Cooker Chicken a la King over rice or pasta.

Ingredients
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
2 cans (10 ¾ ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
⅓ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon black pepper
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 celery rib, chopped
1 green pepper, seeded and diced
1 onion, diced
1 (12 ounce) package frozen peas, thawed
1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimientos, drained
Hot cooked rice, for serving
Instructions

Prepare the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

In the slow cooker, combine the soup, flour, and seasonings. Add the chicken, celery, green pepper, and onion.

Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours. Remove the lid and carefully stir in the peas and pimientos.
