Ingredients to Use When Preparing the Large Family Meatballs and Marinara Recipe

You can make the Large Family Meatballs and Marinara Recipe with these important ingredients:

  • Plain Breadcrumbs. Add your breadcrumbs into your meat mixture to add texture to your meatballs.
  • Ground Chuck. Use ground chuck to create juicy meatballs that ooze with flavor and are great with the marinara.
  • Chopped Onions. Adding chopped onions to the meatballs is the perfect way to give them that natural onion taste that is not overpowering.
  • Italian Seasoning. The Italian seasoning offers a blend of flavor that pairs perfectly with the meat.
  • Mozzarella Cheese. You cannot go wrong with adding mozzarella cheese to your tasty meatballs.

How to Store the Large Family Meatballs and Marinara

Want to make plenty of meatballs and marinara to have for later? If so, you can store your Large Family Meatballs and Marinara in a food container. Use a suitable container with an airtight lid.

Make sure to add both meatballs and plenty of marinara sauce into the container to keep them moist. After putting your cover on the container, put the meatballs with marinara in the fridge for up to four days or the freezer for up to four months. You can reheat the meatballs in a pot on the stove, in the microwave, or even in a slow cooker.

Meat Options For Your Large Family Meatballs and Marinara

While the recipe for the Large Family Meatballs and Marinara calls for ground chuck, you can use different meat variations. You may want to use ground turkey to create learner meatballs with lower calories. You can use a mix of ground turkey and ground chuck to keep the meatballs from becoming too dry.

Besides using turkey, you can also use veal and pork with your ground chuck to create tasty meatballs. The meatballs will melt in your mouth when added to the marinara and served by themselves, over pasta, or even on a roll with extra parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 pounds ground chuck
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 2 (24 ounce) jars marinara sauce
