Even people following a low carb diet want a tasty breakfast. This homemade low carb breakfast pizza is so delicious you won’t believe that it’s low carb at all. There’s even “dough” at the bottom. Well, it’s about as close to dough as you’ll get on a low carb diet. This breakfast will keep you full all morning as it’s full of protein to get you through.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Everyone needs to a hearty start but lots of breakfast food is carb heavy. Seriously, sometimes I need a nap right after breakfast. Thank you Jesus for coffee to wake me up. Yes and amen!
Homemade low carb breakfast pizza is super easy to make while you work on your first cup of coffee. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Throw the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese into a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute. Stir to combine. If still lumpy, microwave in 30 second intervals until smooth.
In a smaller bowl, combine almond flour, salt, pepper, and eggs. Once cream cheese mixture is smooth, add the egg mixture. Stir to create a dough. Either split in half and use 2 pans or use your large sheet pan to press out dough. Pierce the dough in several places or it will explode. Seriously, it won’t be pretty. Place in oven for 10 minutes.
While dough is hanging out in the oven, saute the vegetables to make them soft. Add the mushrooms last and cook just until soft. Take the dough out of the oven. Top pizza in this order : beaten eggs, meats, veggies, cheese. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.Print
This protein packed breakfast pizza will have you wondering if it really is low carb.
For the dough:
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
For the pizza:
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 12 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 pound bulk sausage, browned and drained
- 2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 2 cup coarsely chopped mushrooms
- 2 cup diced onion
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a microwave safe bowl, heat cream cheese with mozzarella cheese for 1 minute. Stir to combine.
In a smaller bowl, combine the almond flour, salt, pepper, and eggs. Stir into cheeses to create a dough.
Split dough in half.
Press each dough half into a 12 inch cast iron skillet or onto a pizza stone. Pierce the dough with holes using a toothpick.
Bake the dough for 10 minutes and remove from oven.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and bell peppers. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and then add the mushrooms. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes or until the vegetables are softened.
To build the pizza, top each dough with half the beaten eggs.
Over the eggs, layer the meats and vegetables. Top with cheese.
Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Serve sliced into pizza wedges and topped with sliced green onion, if desired.
