The budget dinner ideas included in these large family meal plans on a budget are workable to **all family sizes** (I’m broken and only know “mega & lots,” haha!). If you’re a larger than average family you will most likely find my recipes will feed your family one meal and maybe, just maybe, give you some leftovers.

Meal Plans on a Budget
Monday – Sausage and Cheese Quiche
This dish bakes up quickly and would be perfect with fruit on the side. This recipe makes two 9×13 pans of quiche. Depending on your family size, this may be one meal, or two meals with one extra for your freezer. Or, you may even want to double it for even extra meals to stock that freezer for later!
Tuesday – Mild Italian Sausage and Peppers Bake
Serve this dish over rice or if you’re looking for a low carb option, try serving this over cauliflower rice. This recipe will make three heaping 9×13 pans, so plan ahead to save some of this for leftovers for tomorrow or stock that freezer! This delicious meal is colorful and flavorful.
Wednesday – Bean and Cheese Burritos
You’ll be surprised how hearty this meal is! Serve with chips and guacamole for a delicious Mexican Food dinner. This will make 80 burritos, a perfect way to make dinner and add some meals to your freezer for later. You will thank yourself later for filling your freezer.
Thursday – Low Carb Turkey Meatballs with pasta
Nothing says homemade food like pasta with meatballs. Use your favorite sauce and pasta or spaghetti squash and top with Low Carb Turkey Meatballs.
Friday – Homemade Pizza
Serve with a homemade salad! Make sure to multiply the recipe for how many pizzas your family will need. Top with your favorite pizza toppings. This is a great recipe for children to help prepare, and also a great recipe to sneak in those colorful veggies as pizza toppings.
Make sure to save your extras from batch cooking in your freezer! These batch cooking recipes really come in handy for feeding all your people. This can be served with chips and fruit.
For children and non-low carb family members just add in some buttered steamed brown rice as a hot side dish.
