Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

The Slow Cooker Turkey Breast is bursting with flavor. It does not taste dry, nor does it lack seasoning. Believe me, I have tasted dry turkey before, but this is not it. If you want to have turkey as the main course of your meal, prepare this recipe with some of your favorite side dishes. It is perfect for a family dinner, but I have also made this turkey breast when serving guests for different occasions.

How Do You Make it?

Make the Slow Cooker Turkey Breast by preparing your turkey in advance. Start by applying olive oil to the turkey breast and then rubbing it down with a blend of seasonings, such as garlic, pepper, and paprika. Use a generous amount of seasoning to coat the entire turkey breast.

After seasoning the breast, you can place it in your slow cooker with a bit of water, cover it, and cook it slowly for several hours. When several hours have passed, check on your Slow Cooker Turkey Breast. It should be moist and easy to work with, whether you want to slice it down or shred it with your fork.

What to Eat With the Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

You can eat anything you enjoy as a side with the Slow Cooker Turkey Breast. Some of my favorite sides to prepare include creamy mashed potatoes, twice baked sweet potatoes with Bacon, and Garlicky Green beans and Tomatoes. I like to serve it with at least two different sides to prepare the perfect nutritious meal that will fill us up.

Helpful Cleanup Tips to Know

Because you are using the slow cooker, consider getting liners to use inside it to make cleaning up a lot easier. If you put the liner in your slower cooker and then add your turkey to it, you can avoid getting a mess all over. Simply remove the liner and dispose of it after you finish preparing the Slow Cooker Turkey Breast.

If you do not have liners and end up cooking the turkey directly in the slow cooker, be sure to let it soak in hot water with dish soap for at least an hour before you scrub it down. Soaking the slower cooker in advance makes cleaning it a lot easier.
