Before you prepare the Hashbrown, Ham, and Eggs Sheet Pan Breakfast Bake, be sure you have the right ingredients, including:

  • Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes. Purchase two large bags of the frozen potatoes to use on your sheet pan.
  • Garlic Powder. Season your ingredients with a bit of garlic powder for added flavor.
  • Diced Ham. Use a package of diced ham or cut pieces of any leftover ham into small cubes.
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese. Use any brand of shredded cheddar cheese that you like best. Sargento is a great choice!

The breakfast bake consists of crispy hashbrowns, diced ham, eggs, and shredded cheddar cheese, but you can always add a few more ingredients to the meal. Some of the other ingredients that will go great with the ingredients used include sliced red onion, green peppers, and bacon crumbles. Get creative and use some of your favorite breakfast ingredients in the mix!

What to Serve With Your Breakfast Bake

After preparing the breakfast bake, you may want to add some easy sides to expand your breakfast meal. Add homemade bread or muffins like my wheat bread or white bread. You might also like sweeter bread like banana breadCinnamon swirl bread or Double chocolate Banana bread. You might even want to serve them with a side of pancakeswaffles, and french toast with syrup. The syrup adds a sweet touch that goes with the eggs, ham, cheese, and peppers in the omelet. How Long Will It Take to Make?

It will take less than an hour to prepare the Big Family Hashbrown, Ham, and Eggs Sheet Pan Breakfast Bake. You will bake the hashbrowns by themselves for at least 10 minutes to allow them to get crispy before adding the ham and cheese and cooking for an additional 15 minutes. Ingredients

  • 2 (26 ounce) packages frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, if desired
  • 1 (16 ounce) package diced ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 large eggs

 


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Prepare two large rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper or aluminum foil spritzed with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Spread the hashbrowns over the baking sheets. Drizzle with the melted butter, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat and then spread back into an even layer.

  3. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir the hashbrowns.

  4. Add the ham and cheese. Return the sheet pans to the oven and continue cooking for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until the edges begin to brown.

  5. Remove the pans from the oven agan and create 6 wells in the potatoes on each pan.  

  6. Gently crack the eggs, placing one egg into each well. If a broken yolk is preferred, carefully scramble the egg. Season the eggs with salt and black pepper.

  7. Return the pans to the oven and continue to bake until the eggs are at the desired doneness, approximately 12 to 15 minutes.
